Default New 07 subi

Hey guys, just sold my 06 RSX Type-S for an 07 Pearl white STi. I'm still waiting to hear from the bank, the rsx buyer but everythings on track for me to get it by the end of this week. I took a pic of the STi on my crackberry but it sucks so I will post pics as soon as the cars in my possestion. Hope to learn many new things on here and be part of the subaru club.

Congrats. Enjoy the new ride and the forum. Stickies are your friend

Oh and nice color choice

You're right the picture is kinda crappy but it looks like someone already cleared and painted your headlights for you. Any mods on the car that you know of?

I'm sooo stoked, augh its such a sick car. Its Pearl white which isn't available in canada so its been imported from the states, which im totally cool with. It's got 05 STi tails in it for some reason though... im kinda sad about that but its not a huge deal. yeah the headlights are already blacked out like that. I just cant wait till its mine!!! It snows here like 7 or 8 months of the year basically so its gonna be a awesome car to have. I really will miss my type-s though cause its such a great car and looked sexy (coupe). but turbo... 300hp... awd... makes me tingle :P

Trust me, this car is great! But i like the type-s and Si. My friends 06Si is a blast to drive. The only thing you might miss is I-VTEC crossing over but boost and torque should easily make up for that

Hahah I photoshoot with a Nikon D80 w/ a mix of CS2 and I get some cool pics. This was just the second day i've been at the dealership. The $1000 is down and my RSX Type-S is in the midst of being sold. By this weekend or early next week it will be in my possetion free to shoot away and get some cool first shots.

VTEC is gone yeah but the turbo's muuchhh better w/ hp & tq. it was weird tho, when i punched the sti low rpm, like not really low but about 3k lets say.. it didn't feel like 297 ft.lb of tourque. Is that pause the turbo spooling? I'm new to turbo's and used to N/A. AWD + GOOD SNOW TIRES + WINTER SNOW... its gonna be fun, yet safe at the same time.

I'm gonna want to lower it and throw an exhaust it but that might have to wait cause my insurance is goin wayy up.

Well as you read the threads about 07s you will see things about hesitation and a bad tune. My advice too you is to buy an AP as your first mod and go from there. Thats the route i took and it got rid of almost all of the hesitation, but overall the car will run much smoother than the stock tune

Great color choice The AP is plug and play! CobbTuning.com - AccessPORT Most of us highly recommened it for the 07's. Good luck with your new ride.
