I'd like to introduce my self, My name is Daniel. I am in the market of getting a STI, just would like some info on what to look for and what to beware of when purchasing?

And what are some basic mods and what kind of times are they getting out of these? IM new two the whole import sence, but not to modding, however im used to modding trucks trucks lol...

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Yeah, check out the FAQ/Newbie Section or do a Search.

But, I learned by browsing the forums and talking to suby enthusiasts or check out great websites like ScoobyTuner.com - Engine, Suspension, Brakes, ECU Tuning and more for your STi, WRX, Legacy, & Forrester
Just Google it and you can find almost anything you would want to know.

BTW, almost forgot, what year are you leaning towards?

just out of curiosity, how do these cars hold up again the V8's on the free way roll line ups? Do they get smashed on or??
