Default White smoke after running hard

Hey guys,

I'm having an issue with my 07 STI. I just switched it over to stage 2, well I took it to the drag strip. After about 5 runs I parked it and after about 5-10 mins. I started it back up to run again and I got a big cloud of white smoke, then it stopped after a second. Then same thing parked it and started and same thing big cloud. Well with the stage 2 catted tbe everytime I start it I would get the white smoke. My father and I took apart the intercooler and intake houses and waste gate hoses and we found a bunch of oil. We figure it is a bad turbo seal on the inlet side. So we switched it back to stock and I'm taking it to the dealer on Thursday, now my problem is I'm not smoking much now with the stock exahust I think the 2 catts are filtering it up. Anyone have any ideas, is there a major issue with the turbo, what should I tell the dealer? I guess I'll see what they say tomorrow.

its blow-by oil.

when you increase the boost, you get more and more. get some catch cans.

i had the same problem last time on the track, i just put in catch cans. hopefully this helps me, if not, than theres something wrong.

In my experience white smoke from the exhaust is coolant burning. Blue smoke is oil... Check your coolant level?

Alright I took it to the dealer and they say the oil in the intercooler is not correct so I am getting a new turbo under warrenty. Also coolant levels were good, the smoke smelt like it was burning oil, not sure why it was white.

in a normal car, blue smoke is oil, however if it pass through the intercooler it tends to be more of a white color

Interesting. That makes sense, this was going on for a little while, and my coolant level stayed the same so I figured it had to be something else.
