Hi guys, I'm new to this forum. still havent got my own STi yet but i'm considering it.. see how well things go..

hi mate, i'm between getting an '08/9 STi or 05/6 STi Spec C... driven both, like the rush from the spec C's 2.0. not yet convinced by the linearity of the 08 but on the long run might be a better investment.. anyone with different opinions?

Spec C. /thread

This is not hating on 08s, but the Spec C is a limited run car. I know someone who owns one (not stateside, obviously), and someone who owns an S204. It's the car we drool over around here. If I had the chance to own one versus any other Subaru model (save the Type RA-R), I'd take it.

damn, there's 2 of em sitting around at a used dealer i went to, blue and white, the ver9, but i havent got the funds to decide yet. urgh..

btw, iv read about the 70kg less weight, the 2.0 JDM spec engine, the roof flap, coolers, etc, what else is special?
i've driven a friend's 05 Spec C and it was quite feisty but about the same as the normal one. am i missing sth here?
