Default Down Payment

Hello iwsti. I work part time and I'm saving up for an STi. I was wondering what would be a good down payment on a 2005 STi. I only have 1k saved up so far. I plan to work full time in the summer. Thanks in advance.

Depending on your credit, i would say go in with no less than $5K

I placed down 3k. But my credit score was a high. The more money you put down the lower interest and car payment amount you have to pay.

On almost all of my cars I put nothing down. I would rather have the money in the bank. The STI I had to put 3k down because I was upside down from trading in the Vette.

^^^I second that. You should put zero down and finance the whole amount as long as you have good credit and can get a low APR.
