I have had a couple rocks get stuck in the brakes between a shield and the rotor, it sounded terrible. Happened after doing some drifting on the dirt. So if you have been on a dirt road lately check for that.

If it is rocks, put it in reverse and drive for a few feet until they become dislodged, always works for me. It could be race pads they are really loud.

When I had rocks stuck in my brakes I drove 10 miles with nasty squealing. I stopped and inpected the brakes.I saw all the rocks in there. I reversed, drove forward, tried everything. Had to take off the wheel and individually pick out the rocks. Didnt get them all, drove another 15 miles with squealing til I got home, and found a few more rocks lodged in there. So not always will moving forward and backward dislodge the rocks.

Stock pads or aftermarket? No real diagnosis can be made without knowing what pads are on the car.

Is it a squeal or a grind? Have you removed the pads to check them, lube them, etc?
