strut noise front left

are there any common nosies form 05 stis? from the front left strut area i have a noise that sounds like a loose strut but its not i checked and its not but the nosie only happens at low speed bumps and at under 30mph any faster it makes no noise. and i'm also a bmw tech but can't be two places at once

Could be the dreaded STI clunk. Usually if it happens its in the rear, but I suppose it could happen up front. I had the same symptoms on my 06. To me the strut seemed fine. The stealership replaced the strut. (Luckily it was under warranty) and the problem was gone. You might have a professional check it
