Default newbie gots him a subie

hey everyone,

i picked up an 04 STi about a month ago with about 60k on it, and i love love love LOVE this thing... no major mods right now (intake/exhaust), im not looking to make a show car out of this but i am definitely going to be doing some work in the future. i will have pics up in about 2 weeks or so. if you see a blue STi rolling around milwaukee/greenfield wisconsin areas show some love and i will return the favor.

andrew

I say do alot of reading on this forum. before you go and start adding more mods or doing anything drastic. Also the SAFC could be useless, But I may be wrong. Just do some research on it.

You may need to get some Engine Management (like a Cobb AccessPort) and reflash the ECU to accomidate for the Exhaust, if its a Turbo Back.

If none of this makes sense to you then you need to do alot of reading because these cars are GREAT! but if your not careful you can ruin it. Turbo cars are way different from Naturally Aspirated Cars.

Congrats and Good luck.

Lot of nice people on here that love to help. But trust me when I tell you that 99.9999% of every question you have has been asked and answered probably 1 billion times. remember you have a car that has been out for about 4-5 years now. so anything you experience has been covered alot already.
