Default Finally A Proud Owner Of An Sti!!!!!

About 2 weeks ago I finally got my STI. Been looking into and looking for getting one since 2003. Found myself a (one previous owner) 2005 Sti that wasnt someone elses toy and didnt have any mods. 34,000 miles on it, with new tires and very little cosmetic dings.

Previous car is a 2005 Hyundai Accent with 40,000 miles on it that I bought new in 05. Taking into account that for 14 months (total time in Iraq) of the time I owned the Accent, it sat without being driven, it would seem that the previous owner of my new (to me) beautiful piece of Japanese engineering, didnt drive it too much. I've already decided to change out the stock exhaust for an GReddy TI-C, and trying to decide what I want to do with the intake. Any suggestions? Anyone had any problems with particular brands or anything?

BTW I'm keeping the Accent so that I have something to drive when workin on the STI.

The STI is different from most cars in that the intake is probably best left stock except for possibly a K and N drop in filter. Just a thought, but I would start w a downpipe and tune for your first mod. Best bang for the buck at 50 whp increase. Basically, a Stage II tune. Welcome and good luck!
