Hey everyone...just bought a 07 OBP sti

I am new to modding and i am just looking for some advice. i have a Spt intake, and a tial BOV and i'm looking at exhaust's now. i was thinking about a turbo xs rfl exhaust. i want something with a loud deep tone and i want to keep the boxer rumble. any other advice is greatly appreciated

Hi and welcome,

I would lose the BOV, the intake, and invest in a Cobb AP/reflash to V1.04 stage 1. Do some searching, your 07 will love you for it.

1+ on losing the BOV and intake, they can harm your car especially the '07 with out proper EM, invest in an AP, then if you want a melon launcher exhaust thats loud and rumbly, i say the HKS hi power carbon ti, thats what i have coupled with an open down pipe, and its LOUD. but also attracts A LOT of attention from the po po. best of luck, use the search button!!!!

I hope you have your flame suit on

Definitely get the AP and download the stage 1 map v1.04. That's the very least you should do to be safe. Use the search function.

that bov and intake is a ticking time bomb for your engine, get rid of it now! Unless you have some kind of engine management and a protune that will seriously hurt your car.

If you want the intake, go with APS 65mm CAI, don't go with a short ram intake.

Then, you can get the downpipe and fuel pump and get tuned.
