Default Another DRL question.

I am importing a 05 STi into Canada and need to install DRL. Im not a fan of taking my chance by just leaving the headlights in the 'on' position to pass the inspection. I would like to do a proper install. The module costs about $20 and the local shops are charging $200 ish for the install.

Wiring diagram, pictures, instructions, anything would be great. Thanks for any help.

2005 Subaru Impreza WRX and STi spec page
If you scroll down to the part where it says whats new, drl are listed for the 05 STi. Its the 04 STi that doesnt have them which I find weird because I have seen 04 STi's with drl. I almost bought one this past summer and i know it had drl, it is possible he had the dealership do that though so idk

According to this, DRL only became standard on the '06. Possible that it was an option before that?

The Used STi Buyer's Guide

I guess you could do it yourself with a bit of splicing. You'd need to wire the DRL into an always-on, maybe even the ignition. I don't know the specs but you may need to solder in a resistor. Do that, add a ground and you should be good to go.

It should be as easy as buying a DRL module and plugging it in.
