oh we have 91 and 93 too i was just saying that 89 is in the middle

i live in PA right now gas is about 3.50 regular 3.80 for 91/93 i forget which
in jersey right across the bridge i saw gas regular 3.17 yesterday

anyhow did some research today. looks like i cant afford anything other than a downpipe and exhaust. the cobb accessport is out of my paygrade haha but in due time i could get it. which leads me back to my real question, and im sure this falls into engine questions but i will post it in this thread:
(any) downpipe + turbo back exhaust with an angled muffler (like 4.5" if im lucky )
what do you guys think? just an idea (haha i dont even have the car)

p.s. wawakid = son of a man who works for wawa = convenience store that sells gas = 2% off!

Dont install a downpipe without engine management.... slap on a catback, and just let the downpipe sit... when you can afford the accessport, then put on the downpipe.... also, use 93, you will be thankful later and your car will thank you.... Lotsa helpful people here, PM me if you have any direct questions

OR buy the AP first and flash stage 1. Regardless, do not:

1) Put any less than 91 octane in the car
2) Install a downpipe without Engine Management

yeah that, i would suggest the accessport, and if you can afford it, either a downpipe and flash stage 2, or a catback and flash stage 1..... or just be patient and get it all at once

i want the downpipe i guess the tentative plan will be to just sit on this forum until someone part-out's the flash stage 2 but im sure it still wont be cheap... that or i am going to have to sacrifice... its not that i dont have the money rather im not sure if i want to spend it, but now that i have seen some youtube clips and whatnot, i am pretty sure i do

All Wawa's around here only sell 92oct with 10% Ethnol, ****t* IMO. But you can get 93oct anywhere else Exxon, Shell, Texaco with out a problem. Glad I do not have to deal with 91 that would suck.

i dont buy gas from exxon. lol just because they dont need 100 billion dollar profits and their gas prices control the entire industry. if everyone stops buying from exxon prices will drop gaurenteed. anyways... another question
is there a difference between angled mufflers and straight mufflers?

Dude, hate to burst your bubble but this car, by far is not fuel efficient, especially if you start modding it. You will see similar gas mileage as your truck. Don't get me wrong I love this car but it does suck it down, especially if you get into the throttle quite often and drive it like it was meant to be driven.

thanks

the "gas friendly" is me using the sticker for 18mpg city versus 10mpg city on the truck. i truly do not care that this sucks it down, AS WELL IT SHOULD but in the city there isnt too much WOT outside of showing off the exhaust in first gear

--Boston.

at home (pennsylvania) thats a different story... WOT all the time on the highway werdddd

i feel bad for people who dont live near wawa. anyways about to go on vacation for 2 weeks so this car thing will be on hold, and yall will hear from me after that. just thought about selling the truck on ebay instead of a trade in... that way i dont have to go through a dealer and a bit higher prices to acquire the god-gift STi

thanks for all the help
