I found a 2004 sti that is nice but it has a few more mods then what I was originally looking. I was orginally looking for a cobb stage 2, but I found one that has a DeadBolt Superzilla 49 Turbo with all the supporting mods. I spoke with the guy on the phone and he said it is making 23-24lbs of boost 1-2-3 and 26 after that.

After doing a lot of searching that seems to be really high. Can anyone chime in about that boost level? I would hate to buy something that is about to die.

You didn't mention how many miles were on the car, or what other mods it has. I would take it to a Suby specialist ( not a dealer ) in your area, if you have one, and let him go over it. I don't think that much boost is too high for that turbo. I have a 20G on my 06, and I'm running 23 # boost. If he balks at you taking it to be checked out, then I would run away, don't walk, run !
