| Iron Fisted | If you plan on modding it with EM, go with the '07 for the reasons stated above. If you don't plan on modding it (no EM), go with th '06. This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |

IWSTI Addict since: Nov 2006 Trader Rating: (1) | also keep in mind that the '07 has a lot more chrome paint in the head and tail-lights. not too pretty imho, and a bit harder to cover up if you plan on painting them... |

IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2006 Trader Rating: (0) | That and other small cosmetic differences. Such as: The 07 looses the BBS caps (instead it says STI). The 07 has painted side "fake air vents" on the front (black on 06). But also there are some other considerations like the 07 having MP3 compatability, a trunk passthru, and ...that's about it. I'd rather have my 06 just becuase I'm not modding for a while and I'd rather run a safer tune. But like everyone has said, if you're going to go stage II soon, then the 07 is probably better. Oh, and one more thing, in 2007 they changed Aspen white to Satin white which, and this is only an opinion, looks pinkish and distasteful. I think this might have also been why they went right back to Aspen white in 2008! So if you want a brillant and clean bright white, then you can't get an 07. |

To the OP - you could have found all of this information in the buying guide, and in myriad other threads. I don't know what you're trying to obtain to help you make a decision. Find one. Inspect. Drive. Haggle. Purchase.

IWSTI Addict since: Sep 2007 Trader Rating: (2) | 2007. I once had a 2006, but i did buy it used with 39,123 miles. I traded it for a new 2007 with 10 miles on it....if you can go new its always best imo. even with the engine troubles that are known per say, i do like the new gear ratio...does save me gas $$ |

Performance - Overall, the 07 probably has the edge. The upgrades, although minor, have already been noted. Stock for stock the cars are pretty much equal in terms of performance; however, the 07 seems to have more potential when modding.
