I installed the short ram intake under the impression it was going to help me now, I was told it would help balance my air/fuel ratio, therefore pumpin up my hp. Was I informed wrong, and do I really have to take it out?

i think you will find better drivability.

try the stock airbox, get a k&n filter, and take out the intake silencer. i have a how-to on it. it isvery cheap, and i think you will like it for now.

sorry man didnt mean it so dramatically. Its the internet cant really communicate my tone when i said it but anyways. It really messes with your are to fuel ratios causing all sorts of problems. Being an 04 its a bit less touchy than modding my 07 but is still prone to unnecessary stress on the engine. I believe teh most common problem is failure of cylinder 4. I can't really come up with a laundry list for you but if you do a search on BOV or air intake you will find all the problems im talking about. My suggestion and i think everyone will agree is that if you cant afford the protune right now put the stock airbox and bpv back on the car until you can. These are super touchy cars when it comes to moddifying youll need to be tuned for almost any modification you do. good luck. Oh and let me know if you can't find what your lookin for through the searching. Id be happy to help you find them tommorow night.
