^^^^^^^thank you. i have put a good bit of time and money into it, but if it werent for my wife (and her great sense of fashion) i dont think the GC would look half as good as it does now. i have a JDM problem that leads me to want things simply because they are JDM. even if it would make the car look bad i would still want them. my wife keeps this from happening. thank god for her.

initial tune results:
260whp/270tq @ 17psi and 6k rev limiter. i now need to find a FMIC and oil cooler kit to help keep temps down across the board, and some front axles as mine are going out. the final tune will be within a month. boost will be turned up to around 22psi and the original 8250 redline will be back. already the ej207 is producing more power at lower psi, so i cant wait to see its final numbers.

Excellent car! It's refreshing to see something different. Good luck on your tune, etc.

thanks everyone. need to motivate myself to clean it and find someplace to take pics. need to sand my 22b vents to sit more flush...damn ht autos. they bolt in great and fitment is pretty spot on, but i guess ht autos decided they wanted to make their own version of the 22B vents. the sides are almost straight up and down, not the molded look like the factory 22B vents. oh well should have gone with the get-primitive ones. live and learn.

finding a fmic that will fit (without having to fab the pipes to really fit) is becoming a pita. ebay kits are nice and cheap but require a decent amount of fabbing for the pipes to properly fit. have read of a good many gc guys running gd fmics with good fitment. 1200 for a brand name gd fmic...and i lose my fogs. wtf! i like my fogs.

as for oil cooler, was looking into making a top mount oil cooler to take air from the hood scoop, but have gotten alot of people saying the heat soak from the engine will make it simply a really long oil line rather than a cooler.

this non abundance of JDM/AusDM/EDM parts for the GC in the USA is somewhat discouraging. thank god for internets and its global abilities. now to learn japanese.

ebay FMIC piping fitment pics: all pics taken straight on, no under the car shots....kinda hard to tell in a few pics.

^^^^^^^^^piping had to be cut where the blue coupler is in order to fit onto throttle body correctly and not be putting pressure on the oil inlet tube

overall decent fit. clearing the radiator fans and not resting completely against the crankcase involved flattening one side of the intercooler piping. could be that my arc radiator sits too far into the engine bay compared to stock or just that its an ebay kit....or just me not quite installing it correctly. either way it fits now and clears the fans just fine.

still waiting on radiator hoses, low temp thermo, bov, and suction filter to finish off the install.
