Older owner? Younger owner? Does it seem like it was beat on at all? Sounds like a great deal though! Stage 2 out of the box, man!

Is the STi at a dealer, or are you trading with a private party?

You could ask on mnsubaru.com, someone might know the car.

That's pretty high mileage. I think you could do better. My 06 STi only has 12,330 miles on her. I know that's considered low mileage for a DD, but I think you could find one with 30,000 or less if you look a little longer !

It's not a bad price. Def get an '05. I think it's the best year. I've got an '04 and should have opted for the '05.

It could be a good thing and a bad thing that you found it at a Porsche dealership. Good: Most kids can't afford a Porsche. Bad: He needed more power and handling so he bought a Porsche. Maybe he pushed it hard?

I personally bought my car used with mods and knew the repercussions. I did however purchase it $5K below blue book retail value and it had $5K in parts alone on it. I spent $7K for a new clutch, flywheel, and short block and labor to put them in but it was still worth it in the end. I'd push them lower on the price based on the fact it was modded.
