Sound difference between 2.0L STI and 2.5L STI

Do the 2.5L and the 2.0L sound different??? Do they sound significantly differnet? I found these two videos and just noticed that:

NOTE: Both have the STI GeNOME aftermarket exhaust installed
2.5L

Notice a difference??? The 2.5L STI sounds much more aggressive. But do they really sound that different in real life???.....

what about the downpipe? any cats in either?
because thats quite a different sound. Interesting.

The 2nd vid he was reving its like crazy, unlike the first vid he blips it to like 2k and only revs harder inside the car with windows up which makes it sound alot different, and also not everyones recording device is equal, so that can have an effect too

I dont trust sound clips on youtube. After searching for an oval style exhaust, i saw the Greddy sp2 clips on you tube, and those exhausts sounded amazing, and pretty dang loud for an oval style muffler

So i ended up buying one, the thing was almost as quiet as stock on my car, and when WOT it was kinda ricey with a high pitched rumble, and i had the same exhaust mods (3" DP) as the people making the clips, yet there car screamed super loud and deep with the sp2

the quality and placement of the camera in those 2 videos are very different...

honestly tho... there really isnt much difference between the 2...

A friend had on on his 2.0L wrx and I have it on my sti and the sound was the same. The sound will most likely be different with el headers.

the first video is not the 2.5, i can tell by the width of the wheels thats NOT an STi.
