IWSTI Addict since: Sep 2005 Trader Rating: (0) | oh...i though about a how to but it's been done before. Tips: sand more than you think. I have some collagen looking spots on mine. Take your time, use a proper mask in a ventilated area when using bondo. Practice with the bondo on carboard or something. It won't look as good as an esemes...but it only cost me $20. I used a sawzall to cut it...not the best idea...might want to use a hacksaw or something a little more delicate. I also used a dremel tool to do the rough sanding after the cutting. Be careful with the bottom part because it is very thin. I blew a small hole in mine with the dremel. |

IWSTI Addict since: Sep 2005 Trader Rating: (0) | RdRacer: I rough sanded the whole thing and then wet sanded it. The paint I used was duplicolor metalic black. It has a bit of shine to it but not too much. I didn't use a clear coat so it doesn't look as bright as these: ese-grill (pillar-less) installed |
