I am thinking about getting some paint work done and would like to solicit some opinions. I have to have my front end painted with the new parts that have finally arrived - new OEM bumper and a Cusco GT lip. I am considering a pseudo-panda setup. Here is a shot of my Forza 2 STi that I did the way I am thinking about doing. I can take more screenshots of it if needed.

Here is a simple PS I did with a panda roof without the black lip and sideskirts.


And just having the top black

I am also considering picking up some Advan RGII wheels and having them powdercoated Takata Green as you can see in the Forza 2 screen shot. What do you guys think?

Paint the Cusco lip, sideskirts, and mirrors black, and panda the top?

Paint the whole front end white and just paint the roof black?

Leave it like it is and paint the whole front end white?

Other? (please explain)

Hmmm maybe Cusco GT Lip in white as long as it's not as pronounced as the video game version

Black Side Skirts to even out the car since you wont have any black on the bottom of the rear bumper

Black trunk

Black hood

Black roof exactly like your 3rd picture

Go with the wheels, all though I think you will need a minute amount of decal in the same color as your wheels just to balance it out. NOT ALOT BECAUSE YOU WILL ALREADY HAVE ALOT GOING ON ALREADY.

Other than that I think your car will look good. In the end it's what you like. I'm sure most members will Sugar Honey Ice Tea on your idea.

I am sure you're right about people hating on the idea but, oh well, right? The front lip will not be as pronounced in actuality. The APR wind splitter will only protrude about 2.5" from the lip. You can check my journal for mock up pictures. Thanks for your input!

I think the first one looks cool. The PS one. The rims will look cool but youll need something to get it to flow with the green.

Of course it's up to you.

But have you considered whether such a unique paint job will make the car easier or harder to sell down the road?

Might be something to think about.
