Default Taillights swap 07 to 04 or 05
What is needed to swap 04 or 05 Taillights into my 07 STi??
are the harnesses needed? and are they plug and play if the harness is included?
Can I use my 07 Harness??
are 04 and 05 taillights identical??

yes 04/05 taillights are identical. To swap, they are just plug and play. Unbolt and unplug your old lights and then plug in and screw in the new lights

Yes, direct swap....

If you have someone to trade you then thats cool....

but to save you some $$$$.... send a PM to bluebatmobile and order the red vinyl overlays... all red tails look HOT! (its the 3/10 shade of red)

edit: just red you bough some.... what are you doing with your 07's? i mod them...

they are not identical. 05 tails have more bulbs. basically you cant use you 07 harness in a 05 tail light. as long as yours came with the harness you should be ok.

^^ This is why I recommend swapping with someone. Can you buy the 2004-2005 bulbs and harness from Subaru?

i think its pretty simple to just buy the 05 tails that are complete off of subarugenuineparts and then swap them out. This way you can sell yours on the forums. Thats what I did. Just dont buy the lights without the harnesses or bulbs attached.
