Default Dammit, i hate rocks....

Going on my 3rd week of having my ride and when i got it there was no chips/scratches. Every time i wash the rex i keep finding new scratches or small nicks from rocks. Most is on the side of the car which i guess is from the tires. Even though im not a fan of mudflaps I guess its a must and will be ordering some.

I never had this problem when i lived in Va Beach. Guess thats what happens when you live in the boonies in PA. Too many unpaved driveways/roads, and crappy streets.

On another note i cant stand how disrespectful people are to others cars.

I was at work and come outside to jump in my work van when i notice in the parking lot is some Adults in there 40's having a meeting around my car. One guy was leaning against the side, the other Fat guy was leaning his whole body on my wing with his arms laid flat on the top with his head sitting on his arms.

As I stared my blood pressure began to boil to the point of a thermometer hitting the max line and exploding. To keep things short i ripped them all a new @%%hole and they said i was over-reacting.

So i said ..."how would you like it if I touched your gfriend/wife and leaned on her? I love my car like i love my wife so to me thats what your doing."

They shut-up and left after that. Now i can understand teenagers doing this but come on not adults, wtf. Its lame that me being in my upper 20's have to teach someone older then me a lesson in respecting other peoples property.

Thanks for letting me vent btw.People

You didn't teach them ****.

Unfortunate as that is. I would have done the same thing, probably making one of said "adults" cry in the process. Ignorant people FTL.

Your right, they probably walked away not giving a @#it. Its still sad that i had to confront adults and not kids on the matter.

Yes, NEPA has a lot of crappy roads with small rocks everywhere. I get sad to see more rock chips each time I wash mine too. But hey, "its made to be driven" right? I try my best not to follow people closely. The flaps do help with the chips on the side and they also make the car look more aggressive.

As far as the disrespect for other people's cars (or property)..... that makes my blood boil too, especially when I get told "its just a car" or I'm "overreacting." I think it comes from not owning anything nice. It seems like everyone in my area drives beater cars or doesn't take car of their new car. It still doesn't give them a reason to touch my car.

It simply amazes me ! I wouldve done the dumb thing and ended up in jail, but maybe not as i wouldv'e lied to the cops,''i smashed his face officer because he was breaking my wing' off''

I came outside one day to see a nice dent in my B.N 07s' fender, about the size of a football.Thank god i know a dent guy sent from the heavens.

BTW; i have ,on several occasions ''gone off '' on asshats parking too close to me.After the dent i decided to prevent some of the inevitable scratches etc...by double parking.
yes she is special, yes she should be treated as such...to those that biatch about me double parking [if it has ever happened]i say ''call a parking cop,ill pay the ticket''.

Some people will never learn or care about other peoples things. Been hit twice now trying to get on the freeway by people deciding to cut across 3 lanes to get in the car pool lane. Worst response was that I should have just gone faster since I drive a race car - never mind she was on her phone, and just cut straight over - I'll admit I don't really like SUV's to begin with, been hit 4 times now by SUV, "Oh I didn't see you"

If someone were to say that to me after scratching or denting my car, I'd blow my top. I'd ask them if it were all right if I were to kick in their fenders and smash the windows in their car since "it's just a car." I bet they won't say yes.

I'd get some mud flaps and look into getting some clear-bra for your car to prevent more rock chips. my $0.02.

thanks for venting.it always helps.i would have walked up,whipped out the shlong and pissed right on that guys leg.while i was doing that id be looking him dead in the pupils with that crazed grin.if they said a word, well then they would learn what its like to look for their teeth while digging in a puddle of their own blood and spit.its amazing how that wave of regret washes over someone when their sniping off that dangling piece of their lip with scissors ...see dude your not the only one with RAGE.
