Default To Those That Have Done Angel Eyes Themselves

How difficult is the install of these? I am good with wiring, and electrical stuff and that is it. My buddy (psulemon) is gonna help me paint the housing of my headlamps and while I had them off I figured I would try the angel eye mod from Lightwerkz.

Can someone give me comments, advice, or pointers for the install of angel eyes. Would I be able to get through it with out screwing anything up>>>:LOL

Its easy as long as you know how to take apart the headlights which it sounds like you have covered. Other than that, as long as you can hookup the wires to your parking lights, its easy. Cesar may be able to help you with how to mount them in the headlights. I just glued mine in, no issues in over a year with them.

jb kwik weld is what caesar recommends. it's what i used when i did mine. you need a glue that can withstand high temps which the jb kwik weld can.

So if I use the JB Kwik Weld there is no need to drilll holes correct? I did not want to drill anything. You just glue it arond the lamp and put the wires through the rubber gromet of the high beam housing back correct.

Yes that is correct. Just TAKE YOUR TIME!!! especially when you are putting them back together. I didnt, and teh headlamps didnt seal properly and i got moisture in them and had to reseal them again in the oven.

That is also why I used RTV high temp sealant when I resealed then on MY04 and my friends 07. neither of us have any moisture build up.

Coop.. this is definitly going to be an all day event.. if you feel comfortable with the angel eyes, then I can do the rest.

i didnt do the angel eyes but i did clear my headlights and paint the housings by myself and all in all it was pretty easy, hardest part was putting the headlights back into the car.. had to pull the bumper off a little bit..

I am assuming the easiest way to tie in to the low beam wire is by getting those t-taps? Other than that seems like a pretty basic install????

i just have a ?.. do the angel eyes take the place of your HIDs, or do you run the angel eyes during the day and your HIDs at night?

they don't take the place of your hids. you wire in the ccfl rings to your parking lights. when you turn the parking lights on, the rings light up. they stay lit up when you turn on your hids.
