IWSTI Addict since: Mar 2008 Trader Rating: (0) | Just an update: I just msg'd baysonR on eBay and he informed me that the S204 style poly replica lips for the 06-07 are sold out and more will be in IN 2 WEEKS. Figures when I finally muster the courage to order the dang thing they sold out... This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |

IWSTI Addict since: Mar 2008 Trader Rating: (0) | It does make a difference in high speed stability, just so you know. I know I was wondering that when I was thinking about buying one. Now that I have one, I can attest that it does indeed make a positive difference. |

IWSTI Addict since: Jun 2006 Trader Rating: (3) | got an update: ok, so I ordered my lip through ebay from baysonR on monday morning and I received it today (wednesday) and I live close to Boston, Mass. That is awesome shipping time, considering it is coming from california I beleive. The packaging was spot on. I will post pics, but it was shipped very similar to fleadogs (page 1), except mine had more scrap boxes cut up and used to reinforce the lip in layer #2 of the packaging. A lot of bubble rap and cardboard. I can't complain. I was shorted out on hardware, but I was planning on spending the pocket change and buy stainless hardware regardless. The finish of the product is consisten with other buyers.... it is semi-gloss black and has a couple things that need to be sanded/scuffed and can easily be taken care of with a healthy coat of primer/adhesion promoter. I will post all the pictures later on tonight when I finish painting and instaling. Overall impression: best bang for the buck lip on the market oh yeah, I ordered the v-limited style badge from fastwrx.... theyre backordered but should be receiving another shipment this coming friday. I am currently looking into actually creating my own replica badges with an actual engraved sti symbol and real paint, as opposed to the sticker over a thin peice of crappy grade polished aluminum. I have close ties with a good resource to maybe get this project under way- all depends on demand in the market! let me know if you're interested- |

| Junior STI Driver | I'm on the Newton/Watertown line...if you want my flat black paint, I'm probably not going to use it again. I also have the adhesive promoter. Get the badge from the Subaru dealer. |

| Junior STI Driver | Does anybody know if you get more screws when you order off ebay (baysonr). I ordered my replica v-limited lip from fastwrx.com. I'm having trouble installing it with stock bolts or did anybody drill to make holes bigger on lip. |

IWSTI Addict since: Feb 2008 Trader Rating: (0) | You are supposed to drill extra holes in it. and you are also supposed to go to home depot or a hardware store to buy screws to hold it in place better |

| Junior STI Driver | I only got 2 screws with it to hold the middle of the lip in. I guess i have to get more screws and drill the holes bigger. |

Read the thread guys!!! creating your own badge is a waste of time. I posted the part # for the real v-limited badge months ago. It is post #166 on page 12 or 13 and i posted comparison pics on post #192. You can order it from any dealership or online from subaru genuine parts. The real badge is very nice and is not a sticker on aluminum and can be had at a cost of only $25-30 shipped. | ||

IWSTI Addict since: Jun 2006 Trader Rating: (3) | I hear what youre saying, but if they can be obtained for 5-10 dollars shipped and potentially customized for maybe a different color or style, and the resource is very accessible, why not give it a shot? I know both Subaru as well as other aftermarket vendors have that badge and a number of other badges, but hey, gotta give some props to different options. |
