FS: MadDad(TM) Clarity Ultra Series 60mm Boost Gauge.



Bought about a month ago. Installed in my 07 STI, works well.

Everything originally came with the box are included, EXCEPT the supplied gauge mounting hardware.

I extended the sender unit to gauge cable by myself, wires are soldered and wrap in heat shrink.

Unfortunately I cut the sender to T-fitting tubing rather short, so if you want to mount the sender a bit away from the T-fitting, you need to find some 1/8 (?) barb connectors to extend the tube.

The warranty label is a bit worn due to probably the heat in the engine bay.

I bought them $194.95 new, now selling $90 shipped (USPS priority) O.B.O.

Fixed the link to the photo. I mounted my sender pretty close the location of the vacuum T. The tube from sender is now around 20cm. If you want to mount it further away then you definitely need an extender (1/8 - 1/8 barb) I think autozones carry those (link)

okie doke, so sold as is i could install it my self no problems? where in san diego and if you dont mind me asking, whats the reason for selling?

To install you need to locate
1. ground
2. constant 12 v
3. ignition
4 illumination
5. acc

These can all be tapped through the fuse box behind the coin tray. There's a thread regarding the install using fuse box some where. For a better install you can use the radio harness. You will also need a 1/4 T-fitting as the one supplied by Maddad (or just about any brand) is too small if you want to tap the stock BPV. And a mounting cup if you don't already have a mounting location.

Reason for selling? I switched to Defi since I plan to get their link display which requires the control unit anyway.
