IWSTI Addict since: Aug 2006 Trader Rating: (0) | Both, allthough the brown was a little much for me(filling, not strong), I would buy it when they got some in on base. I liked several beers from germany that I can't remember the names(any of the weizens(spell) were pretty good, and lowenbrau was allways an option. I think we drank a lot of Heineken due to the price($9.50 a case). Can't always afford the good stuff making $14000 a year for the Air Force Off base, most of my friends drank Guiness, again too much like food for me), I mostly drank Harp(lager & strong) and a couple Italian beers like Peroni were readily available. I'll call off the fairysYou like weizen....yet the brown heine was to filling? I also like a crystal weizen with dinner...but its way to heavy for mass drinking...so its either Bitburger or viez ... (viez is cider) I'm really more a Bourbon guy...but still drink beer. | |

IWSTI Addict since: Sep 2006 Trader Rating: (-2) | So some of you already know but they raised the price to 19 Euro's per lap in 2007.....what a crock.....every year it looks like it's going up a couple bucks....you think with all this money we dump into that place they could at least build another parking lot across the street |

IWSTI Addict since: Sep 2006 Trader Rating: (-2) | The ring was awesome yesterday !!!!! Hall with the S2K and I were up there along with about 5 other military people....I gave a vw gti and a srt-4 a huge head start and caught up to them right reallllll quick....total dryness on the track but gayest part of the day was construction on the karussell....so you have to go round the outside.....lap times are at the 8:45 mark B2G with stock suspension and the winter tires.....can't wait to put that RCE goodness on and the RE070's....should be sweet !!! Anyways looks like awesome weather again today....if anyones heading up there hit me up.... |

| STI Driver | Yep, pretty good conditions for a February! My wife suggested we go up there as a family Sunday...so we did. Took our 02 WRX wagon, which has snow tires on right now. Anyhow, did 5 laps with the whole family in the car. My daughters liked it at first, then by the fifth lap they were reading their books and whatever. ![]() Dying to get my STi up there with the extra oomph provided by the stage 2 mods...gonna make a huge difference. If the weather is good next Sunday I'll probably go. Todd Last edited by ToddStratton; 02-19-2007 at 01:45 AM. |

| STI Driver | Yesterday was quite nice up at the Ring...once the line dried (mostly) there were some quick laps to be had. After all the GT3s, Elises, etc. had their way with the armco while the track was drying, that is. Saw an HK plated silver Cayman S in the gravel at Aremberg. Anyone know him? +12 laps ![]() Todd This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |
