when you get a good compression AND leakdown test and it still throws a code, it could be a spark plug, coilpack or injector. So only one of those three. Good luck man.

OEM plugs are fine and a leakdown/compression test will run around $100-$200 depending on where you go

i could be paranoid, but the car felt realyl weird. it wouldnt realyl go like it used to, it kinda bucks a very little bit. it doesnt hit full boost. like 16.something and it just seems slower. so idk what happened. ill let yall know the resuilts of the test.

wow, that sucks man, sorry to hear. hopefully they will hook you up good.

yeah, unmarry the AP and it will be on the stock ECU (make sure you do this!!!) otherwise you will be on your own! i would leave the cobb stickers, they cannot void your warranty for cobb stickers.. just make sure you dont have the AP in the car. good luck

i don't know where to start a new thread, but just as i suspected when i took it to the guy we know he did the test and told me that it was definetley a piston ring or something broken in that cyl 4. so i took it to the dealer after i uninstalled AP and emptied my car out. and they said ok we will take a look at it tomorrow morning. so i guess im in for a long ride with no car...just like the other 07 owners.

I wouldn't tell SOA anything they don't need to know, ie accessport, launching etc. If the dealer denies the warranty just call them up and demand they honor the warranty on your stock car. Threaten to take them to court and fax them a summons if they say no. Definately try the nice guy approach first but you may need to fight it depending on what the dealer tells SOA when they deny the warranty.

Work with the dealer first - going to SOA is a last resort.

+1.

I've had to deal with SOA twice so far. Both times I called SOA and they took care of it immediately. SOA isn't always the enemy but the dealer is from my experience
