Well, what my tuner means is that some of the e-bay tmic have poor built quality and some do very well and some, well just suck.. Ive decided to go with the tdo6 20g w/ 8cm, I’ll look into the sz49, do you know how much that cost’s off hand??? know i just have to decide what copmany to go with?? dead bolt i here is one of the best but $1600 for a 20g is kind of pricey..

yes 20g+meth+tmic would be fun

did you get tunned yet?? if you did what was your whp??

Hey, yeah i hear what he is sating on the ebay stuff and personally I sually dont get any ebay items... But alot of people are making out good with the TMIC and the FMIC from like SSAC and other's.

The TD06 20G 8cm is exactly what I was gonna get awesome street Turbo in my opinion that with Meth oh perfect.. Yeah deadbolt is nice cause you get the rebuild for life, I also like Blouch Mike is real cool thats the ony two companies I would get the 20G from the SZ49 is $1595 so not to diff from the 20G just depends wether you want a bigger turbo then the 20G. Seriously dude if you get the 20G keep the TMIC its perfect for that turbo I have seen alot of great dyno numbers with a tmic with superfast spool better then stock.... Me I get tuned tomorrow lets see how my experiment of a DOM 3.0R with a TMIC + Meth works out Could be good - could be bad

for a 20g sized turbo, a tmic will be more efficient in terms of flow...a small fmic would work but keep what you have and add some meth

Yeah no prob. If your gonna do the 20G stick with you TMIC.. As for me I dont think I am pushing it with the APS TMIC its got great flow and like I said Mike from Blouch ran his for over a year with the little stock TMIC and he had no heatsoak issues.. Its an experiment for now want to see how it acts and how nice the spool up is gonna be inbetween shifts and all. I am not against a FMIC, I am still gonna get and run the APS 525, but I figured I would use the TMIC for now Yeah let me know if you need any help with anything.. Good luck

The mentality "bigger is better" does not apply in this case at all. There are FAR more things to look at with an intercooler AND especially in this case.

pressure drop
flow/CFM
size
bar/plate or tube/fin
rows
fins

way way too much involved. That's why some tuners have gotten better "numbers" with the stock tmic, vs. the ebay tmic's.
