I would like HYDRA but I hear in New York State you cannot pass inspection with it...what do you do to pass swap in the stock ecu and put some miles on it to clear codes??

yah you would have to put in the stock ecu, calibrate it for your injectors or swap other injectors in. GEt it running alright and most likely need cats.

Money talks Bull$hit walks. That is about the ultimate OTS Subaru upgrade. Prepare to trounce about any exotic on the road.

What are you going to do for clutch and axles? I think you'll quickly reach failure with the projected power levels there.

Hey, thats just another 20 grand to add to the bill. Keep workin man, keep workin.

91+ meth is right at 100 octane. its cheaper in the long run, plus 91 is readily available, and if you get a Spec C 3 gallon tank in the trunk to use as the resovoir...and fill it 50/50 meth/water, you wont have to refill it for a long long time.

It seems like your pretty set with your build, but read around a bit about the tsr 70, people are still not putting up numbers of what it can do with a fully built block like what your looking to do, i believe i've seen someone make the comment that the exhaust housing chokes the motor at higher rpms which is where your motor would most likely shine. Full race just released their manifold setup which can be adapted to most garret gt turbos, might be a better setup for what your goals are, just my $0.02

i know a little about this subject. you can stretch the odds on your stock drivetrain at that power level without spending major money by keeping a break-pin to save the tranny, i.e., keep the stock axles and doing a one piece aluminum drive shaft to buffer some of the shock. personally, i would not upgrade the axles until you beefed up the tranny with a dog engagement gear set, which sounds remarkably like my current plan.

personally, i would lose the aps turbo and get a proven big garrett turbo. looking pretty has nothing to do with it. with regard to your stock headers v aftermarket headers, i like the heat retention of the cast stock manifold but i'd have them p&p and crucial thermal coated. i'm not a closed book, however.

please feel free to copy my fuel system. hydra is clearly the way to go with a build with your aspirations.

I dunno fellas I love my Hydra and all, but AEM's software interface blows Hydra's software out the water. So much more user friendly and navigation through AEM's software is soo much better. If AEM made a box for STi's I'd drop my Hydra in a second!

that might be important from the tuner's standpoint but i could care less how easy it is to tune. that's why i have phil (isfh).

Is this true?
