Thats good to know but I'm pretty sure they are already welded to the band clamps.

yup, so i deleted that useless post. Looks like i might have to jump onto to this deal sometime soon. Please post a picture when you fix the 2.5" taper.

As for downpipe, Helix should be nice. It's cheap and has a 02 bung for wideband, this is assuming you are staying with stock mount turbos with internal wastegates.

If you are going rotated, the kit will be supplied with their special downpipes for external wastegate.

as for karboy hangers... if you are looking to install a trailer hitch or anyhting similar, you might want to install extra long exhaust hangers, other than that I do not think you need them. Or if the muffler tip is too close to the bumper (Mangaflow recommends at least 1/2" of clearance between any body panels to avoid heat-related damage or fire) , and lastly if the entire exhaust system vibrates too much, then stock length hangers could be used. Hope this helps.

Yes for now there really is only so much money my wife will let me spend.. But I was really looking into the helix down pipe but not really sure weather to go with catted or not, what would be the major deffence between the two? As for the turbo I'm not going to change any time soon but I will be looking into the fp green with 3" inlet when the time is right, One more thing what would be the best cat to look into?

I have a version 2 Helix catless downpipes sitting in my garage. They are usually much cheaper if you buy them used. It's simply a peice of stainless steel piping with few bends and a flange, not a big difference between new or used. I went catless because AccessPort takes care of check engine light and because of performance, less back pressure on turboed cars=better in my mind. If you are staying with internally gated FP green, you can still use this downpipe for the future.
