Default looking for JDM DP

I have finally realised that i should be putting all JDM stuff on my car, so My next purchace will probably be a DP with AP... wondering if any of you had a good suggestion for a catless DP (JDM) that will match up well with my XR-1. Thanks in advance

ahh, does the borla xr1 have a flange? Helix DP's are good, catted if you want a cat or catless if you dont care about that and they are resonably priced. I personally like the catted cause you dont smell exhaust all the time when your driving and it can help with boost creep (i dont have any).

Im not worried about boost creep as i will be getting an AP. I was looking at the Helix catted at first until i found out i probably wouldnt have any BC issues. So, the Helix catless is one of my options...

Boost creep from my understanding is a mechanical issue, the wastegate cant flow enough exhaust around the turbine, and as a result the turbine spins faster then it should (more boost). Tuning may help but if the creep is coming from the wastegate then it is mechanical and you can look into getting the wastegate ported so it can flow more exhaust gas. Unfortunately from what I have read there a several people out there with an AP that experience creep. Good luck on your decision.

I suggest the Helix catted. Flows really well.

Wow...asking for a flame on that one. First off, boost creep can happen with the AP, hence the reason for the HWG and LWG maps. Second...if you're worried about boost creep DO NOT get a catless downpipe, since catless downpipes are more likely to cause creep than catted onese.
