Gooks great! BTW what paint did you use to paint your FMIC?

Thanks.

Thanks. I need to do an outdoor day pic.

I didn't paint it. You can get it in silver or black.

This is a great thread, it really helped me with my DR525 install...

Anyway, thought I'd share my experiences and pictures...

My car is an MY06 JDM STI Spec C Type RA, and I did find a few minor issues:

- M/T cooler lines interfere with the new coolant reservoir bracket. Had to install a small spacer to clear the cooler lines, still a little bit of movement in the reservoir tank
- M/T cooler lines at the bottom of the radiator block the hot side piping. Had to bend them apart to allow the hot side piping to clear
- Cold side pipe is hard up against the turbo coolant tank
- Hole in front bracket on hot side pipe doesn't line up to anything
- Don't tighten the brake booster adapter too hard - I snapped mine - luckily I got it out with an EZ out and they are readily available fittings from any hydraulic/pneumatic shop
- If you have a larger thicker aftermarket radiator, it is real tight behind the radiator!!

Here are some pictures:

Engine Bay - pipes were originally wrinkle red, now are HPC coated...

Intake and Oil Cooler - fits nicely with the FMIC piping...the Oil Cooler is the factory Spec C cooler, it was repositioned when my previous Power Enterprise V-Mount kit was installed...

New Koyo Radiator

Radiator comparison - Koyo radiator is almost twice as thick...

FMIC installed with bumper and new grill...

This picture allows you see the grill shape and I/C behind it better...

Oil Cooler duct (if you look closely, you can see the oil cooler behind the duct mesh...

Side view of the bumper - you can see there is a gap between the bumper lip and the undertray - I'm getting a panel made up to close off this gap...

I just got my DR725 installed. This thread was very helpful, thanks guys. I have not cut my bumper yet as I am really intimidated by the thought. Anybody out there have any advice? I would really like to know what I should use to cut it with. Thanks.

Finished with the bumper and I think it looks really good but I unfortunately have run into a few fitments issues.

Bumper:

The IC piping impacts into the timing belt cover:

I started a thread on the fitment issues: APS DR725 FMIC Fitment Issues (With Picts)
