You are absolutely correct. My tuner made me aware of this right away. Many tuners will go for 4rth gear pull just to show higher numbers. I put 305WHP and 350WTQ in 5th gear, but wold have made easy 330/375 on 4th gear pull.

I know that i have to run the crappy gas and its a mustang dyno which is very realistic (harsh) on numbers. But why do my numbers seem so low compared to other sti owners in this thread with stock turbos? i know that i could use a aftermarket intercooler.. but the tuning and A/F is solid! and I make power from 3k to 7k rpm.
If it makes you feel any better, I used same tuner, same dyno, same gas, and basically same set up, except I have Gruppe-S headers, Spearco TMIC. and no EWG and got 296whp/307wtq with safe tune with an '05 STI.

Default Dyno Sheet for headers?

Does anyone have a dyno sheet or just know of how much power is gained with headers on an sti? Specifically non-equal length?

100+ degrees in the shop so needless to say the car was really heat soaked and not holding boost, so I could have hit higher numbers, this was only 18psi on 93 and 19psi on the 107 mix (Torco Mach 107 sucks so don't get it as the motor octane is really 104 and doesnt allow for much more timing)

1.HKS Downpipe *moded to bellmouth* Heat Wrapped

2.HKS Hi Power Exhaust

3.HKS Turbo Timer

4.Cobb 91 ocatane stage 2 off the shelf map

*On these dyno sheets I was running the Injen Cold Air intake and it was running a little lean when doing the base runs. Mike @ Gruppe-S told me just to put the stock airbox back and the torque would rise to around 285! He said it would be pointless to Protune the intake because it wouldnt really create power, it would just get rid of the leaning issue. It would be better to save the money and upgrade to a front mount intercooler, larger turbo, injectors and fuel pump then get it Protuned*
