I understand your opinions, but people pay $300 for a front lip spoiler and that cool, I actaully want one as well, but at to each there own. If they were so horrible why would they make them? I see everyone flame people just becuase you aren't getting HP gains ex. I mean come on, if you are smart and get an adjustable one then there is no issue. People even pay $50 for a matching dead pedal!!!!!! It goes on and on

I think the point is that unless you tune for it or have a MAP conversion, you are actually paying to get inferior performance whereas all the other mods you listed give you something on the + side, whether it is aesthetics or what not.

So how much performance am I going to pay with my GFB stealth on set a 50/50.......I just installed it tonight and didn't notice any difference in throttle, butt dyno feels the same. Of course I will not go full atmostphere but I opened it up to about 30/70- 50/50 ish. Sounds good, idles fine......

Default RE: strut options for groundcontrols??

On some brands of turbo cars, they are necessary because the original valves are garbage. I used to have a 1.8t VW and the stock recirc valve would shred itself at anything over 12 psi of boost. The cars ran 7 psi stock and could be made to boost to 16 psi with a chip. So normal people doing limited upgrades needed upgraded bpv/bov's. Also, the cars ran fine when going full atmospheric. So, if you're going to buy a new valve, might as well get a fart-o-matic.

In contrast,
The stock SUBARU recirc valve is good for 20+ psi. More than enough for 95% of us.

That other 5% is running higher boost and needs an aftermarket BOV to contain the boost. BUT (and its a big but) someone running big boost will at the least be using some kind of custom engine tuning product (UTEC, ECUTEK, etc). With these products, you can tune the engine for the use of a BOV. So in the end the person ends up with a BOV that can hold 40+psi and no tuning problems.

Then there are the majority of the dodo's out there who add a BOV to their otherwise nearly stock cars, so they can sound like the guys with the big turbos.

So in the end, there are 2 people who buy BOV's
1)those with big turbos, making big boost
2) ricey poseurs who want to sound like people with big turbos and big boost.
