To be honest with you I really don't notice it... althought I do smell something funcky after red lining it a couple times. In the dyno, the clutch shows signs of slippling after 6k rpm, I usually shift @ 6500 so the chances of me really noticing anything are probably slim. By the time it slips I'm shifting.

Anyways, the car feels strong but now every once in a while when shifting at hight rpms (6k+) usually in the higher gears, 4,5,6 I'm getting a checking engine light turn on and flicer once or twice then goes away. The car feels perfectly fine... no clue what that means.

No wonder you are smelling something funky. You **** at 6500. That's gotta smell bigtime. Hopefully you have plastic on the seats

Yeah if you were smelling your clutch stock when just flooring it, there is definitely a problem. I don't think the STi makes enough power stock to overcome the stock clutch's grip (at least not from a roll.)

Keep an eye on the clutch. If it really is starting to slip, within a week or two, the clutch will probably be noticably slipping in high gears. I.E. you step on the gas at 3500 RPM in 5th gear and the engine revs, but the car doesn't move.
