| Spec C Club | I installed the k@n typhoon about to weeks ago. Love it. Do I need to take that elbow thing out along with the thing that connects to it? If not would it make a difference if I did? This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |

| Amateur STI Driver | the K&N guys told me leaving it in actually helps.. i dont see where the thing draws air in.. when the hood is closed, it seems to be totally sealed off.. but i did take an air nozzle at work and blow into the front scoop and i actually felt a lot of air coming out of the tube.. so my guess is, if any air finds its way into the front scoop, it all gets pushed right at the filter which is perfect. |
