| Grassroots STI Racer | I have it and love it. It is VERY loud and deep. No rasp also which I think is nice. I have gotten one ticket for it in the past 3 years and they guy was gonna write me for something. |

IWSTI Addict since: Jun 2007 Trader Rating: (0) | I have a GT Spec, currently mated to a Titek catless DP. I did run with the stock DP for a while 1st. At stage 1, it was loud, but not outrageous. It droned a little on the freeway and occasionally set of a car alarm in an enclosed space (parking structure). At stage 2 (catless) it is very loud. Warming up my car in the garage rattles windows, dishes, and glassware in the kitchen upstairs. I set off multiple car alarms every day in my parking structure at work, and occasionally in outdoor parking lots. At WOT it sounds like a beast and will terrify you passengers! ![]() Construction quality is good. The connection to the DP is necked down so that you can use the stock donut gasket and stock DP. I currently have a full 3" DP and if I were properly motivated I might have the flange (of my catback) redone. I am using a Remflex gasket and the seal is OK. |

IWSTI Addict since: May 2008 Trader Rating: (0) | Just installed the Apex GT on 8/2/08-and I LOVE the DEEP, SOLID RUMBLE!!! This is everything I was looking for in a exhaust. Thank you guy's for your inputs. One quick Question: Does anyone have the factory alarm for there STI. If so, when you arm and disarm it does the horn sound each time. If so can you delete the horn and keep the electronic beep to more discrete? This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |
