Default 10.0 afr at idle?

so i recently instaled my fp green tgv deletes and fuel system, agency power rails and agency power 816 cc injectors. also a walbro 255 pump.

i ordered a mail in flash from pdx to temporarily allow me to drive the car to get tuned.

heres the prob. i upload the tune, flash it to the car start the car up and the car goes to 10.0 afr even at idle. sometimes bouncing up to 10.1 before i shut the car down b4 smtn happens.

Afr's 10.0
Fuel pressure. 41 psi
vacume -15 (small leak i have to find)

Does anyone think they know what this could be? could the flash is just horrible. any input is appreciated.

Possible issue with your injector scaling. I'd call them up and have them verify what they used for the scaler.

You also may need to allow it to run for a spell to get out of the warmup open loop and also let the ECU start adjusting your trims.

What are you using to take your AFR readings?

Agree. Are you using an previously installed AFR gauge or something else?

aem wideband 02 is used for afr's and 10.0 is as rich as it reads so i can only guess its worse

The map is probably just a limp tune.

Even if so, that is WAY too rich at idle. He's washing the cylinder walls down while at idle.

Yes, but the injectors most likely aren't even scaled. That would be the problem.

Get a real tune or call PDX and tell them to fix it. I've seen another STI with a PDX mail-in tune that barely ran, wouldn't idle, and threw CELs for things that are not even present in an STI (like the idle air control valve, lol). After they went back and forth with PDX once or twice it ran OK enough to limp the car onto and off a trailer.

Its the injectors. I never have had a chance to tune those guys yet (agency power)??? Are you sure you are not talking about PE injectors? They require a bit more latency IIRC than most.

yea they are agency power modified stocker

pdx is on the black list for me now! i know its hard to tune the car without it being there but i figured it would at least idle ok. well.... lesson learned.

i think im just gunna put some fresh oil and the stock inj and intake back on flash it back to stage 2 and find my vac leak then either swap the inj and maf plug. or tow it to the tuners.

Thanks everyone for helpin me out.
