With the mods you have, I would have already gotten it tuned, a long time ago. I would not personally do any more to the car without getting a tune.

im hoping he is tuned because he said "re-tuned".

upgrading your I/C, no, you dont need a tune. its suggested, but not completely necessary. bigger turbo = YES. you wont be able to go to a bigger turbo setup unless you get bigger injectors anyways, which you would need a tune for.

i havent touched my ECU and many other havent either and im on a 30r kit, a lot of people are on 35rs with not having to deal with the ECU.

Remove your BOV it is/will make your car run like crap and the boost controller is worthless..

On an '04, you're at the most you can do with just getting by without a tune.

I think you'll find that there's a descent amount of power to find with what you have now if you get rid of the BOV and the boost controller and get a good tune.

As for going with a bigger turbo and injectors you will need to be tuned. All of you WG duty cycles and fuel curves will be way off and need to be remapped among other things.

He has a JDM spec car so almost everything you know about USDM cars can get thrown out the window. Its not even the same engine or turbo, let alone ECU.

With that being said, you need to get a tune, it will yield you more HP for the mods you have done.

Where are you located?

first, you´re tuned?
1. question
changing TMIC to TMIC...no
changing TMIC to FMIC...yes
changing turbo...yes˛

2. question
there aren´t many things left, maybe light flywheel, pully kit, cf drivetrain...without touching the ecu...

oh, and get rid of the bov

tnx alot guys..

big help, but why get rid of the Blow Of Valve, u mean put the stock one back ??
the thing is i live in dubai, and getting a ECU tuned, there is about 2000$ with 3 dyno runs. and not only that they arnt very familiar with the JDM spec EJ20.

but ill sure do it then, i think since i should have allready done it , ill install the parts i ordered, FMIC, Aps SR56 Turbo, 750 injectors, side fuel lines, Excedy Clutch n flywheel, and tune the ecu after that.

With a 56lb/min turbo, I personally would go with 850cc injectors. Your in between a 30r(52lb/min) and a 35r(60lb/min) and I recommend when going to a 30r that you do 850cc injectors, unless you are going to run Meth injection, then you could get away with a little bit less injector.
