It may not be a transmission issue.

It may be that you're simply not matching the revs closely enough.

If the shaking that you describe is more of a bucking where the car jerks forward and backwards, then I'd say it's probably mismatching of the revs. Try blipping the throttle lightly after putting the clutch in and before letting it back out. That'll spin up the engine a little bit and help the engine and transmission synch up a little more smoothly.

If it's something besides bucking, let us know and someone will probably have some ideas.

Good luck....and check that oil level frequently.

I check my oil every time I get gas, I figure what the heck I'm not doing anything else. I also check tire pressures and just generally give the car a once over looking for low fluids, leaks, etc. The point is: You drive an awesome car...take better care of it. If you had a baby would only check on it when you took it to the doctors?

I follow a similar routine.

At each gas fill-up I give the car a once over.

However I normally check oil levels and tire pressures in the garage in the morning rather than at the gas station.

That usually happens once a week and when I pull in the garage in the evening, I pop the hood as a reminder to check the oil level and air pressures the next morning. That way the oil has settled back in the pan overnight and the tires have cooled down.
