Upper Radiator Hose

Yesterday I had a radiator hose bust on me in my '04 STi. I'm visiting family here in the Dallas, TX area. There are no auto parts places that carry this part or part # in their system. I was wondering if anyone has a spare UPPER radiator hose laying around that lives somewhat close to the Dallas area. I would call the Subaru dealership I got it from, but I have to be back to work on Tuesday. I don't think Subaru would have one on hand. But anyways...any help is much appreciated.

did you bring the old one into the parts store and have them try and match it with something close?

mine busted out of town once had to get something close and trim it still on the car today

i did bring it in to the parts store...but they didn't seem to willing to search for anything that would come close. just as long as the bends are close i can just trim excess length off. maybe i should go back up there today and ask if they can "match" one from the bins they keep hoses in in the back. good idea. i just still want the hose that's made for the car...i'm quite meticulous about my car

if you pay for overnight shipping + for the hoses, i will have them out to you tomowrow morning......they are mint condition hoses from my 07 sti, pm me if interested

Well...I GREATLY appreciate the offer - but I have already found a hose that had the same bend radii but was longer. I trimmed off the excess and it is actually fits a little better. It's a little further away from the pulley and fan. Thanks for the info - and you fellow IWSTI members rock!

Subaru is definitely love LOL

Hah. My radiator fan chewed through my upper hose. $17 from the subaru dealership
