Default 2007 sti+catless dp=boost spike?

on cobbs website they mentioned if you run a catless downpipe on a 2007 sti you run the risk of getting boost spike, what if i use a catless cobb dp,with the stock catback will i still see boost spike issues? i want to go catless in the future but i dont have the money for an ewg yet, so if this is possible let me know!

Chances are you will experience boost creep/spike. Even with the stock cat back, it will be alot less likely. But IMO will still happen. I had creep problems with my '07 with a catless downpipe. You're only gonna lose like 5hp, who cares. Catted is the easiest way to go, even though its more expensive. Why would you want an EWG?

Further down the line of mods you will lose more than just "5hp".
