I just can't wrap my head around why a FMIC makes a car less reliable than a TMIC (according to the OP). With proper tuning, I think that the opposite is true.

ur right, it wont be less reliable with a tune.... jus a bit more lag, and its not really worth it unless u go with a bigger turbo, then u might as well do it at the same time and get tuned once.

locally history has shown some issues with FMIC thats all.
