Default Phenolic spacers

Im looking at the grimmspeed phenolic spacers, and i know the 8mm ones say FMIC only but it just raises the IM why would it effect the tmic? wouldnt you beable to just shim it up with some washers to get it to line up?

It would be tough to get everything to line up with a TMIC. You could raise it up but then the y-pipe might not line up and I don't know if the core would clear the hood. I have the 8mm version and it took a little extra work to get everything to fit right, even with a FMIC. My only issue now is the hood rubbing on the BPV. Not a problem mechanically but it did put an ugly gouge in my shiny Turbosmart valve
