My Exhaust is Wayyy to loud!

I have the Invidia V2 Catless DP+Invidia N1 Race Exhaust I installed it with some friends tonight and it is wayyyy to loud. Like while im idleing I could probably get a ticket. I am In So Cal and cops are all butt hurt about exhuast. What Can i get to have the same sound but just quiter?

that is a loud exhaust, i bought it too but sold it because of the noise. i have the same dp but with the G200 and it is perfect for my taste. oh i also have EL headers and that makes it a tad less loud.

lol so you buy one of the loudest setups and dont expect it to be loud? howd you go on buying the n1 and not know it was going to be loud?

loud or not, i love the invidia. but i too got rid of it b/c of cops where i live. not worth the hassle and court.

pick a quieter catback, adding a cat won't do it.

quiet exhausts I have heard and liked were the Greddy evo2, borla hush, and APS 2.5" single tip.

When I saw the title of this thread I said to myself "He must've gotten the N1 Invidia TBE". I've had one for about about 2 years now, and have re-named it the Invidia PFL N1 TBE

Haha I knew it was loud i saw some videos with this set up just not THIS loud. This is like driving in low RPMS and not even being 1/2 of its loudness and setting off alarms. The sound of the boxer is amazing though i love it just not a fan of tickets!

You could have a shop weld in a resonator or buy the regular Invidia catback that has a resonator. Resonator will make it more livable and less loud.

Also the Invidia G200 is more quiet and still sounds awesome.

fwiw, in sf i got a strong warning for exhaust loudness w/ a g200 and invidia catless dp. the officer was nice to me. at the time of the incident, i was in traffic with cars all around me. i was not blasting through the streets. also, when i had the g200 setup on, it was setting off parked car alarms in 2nd and 3rd @ 3000 rpm.

or you could try and add the silencer, that helped a lot on my setup.

funny how the name "N1 Race" didn't lead you to believe that it would be loud.

What about exhausts with "Hush", or "Whisper", "Stealth"......?

Lol @ gd7. Ya man better get a new catback. Even with a cat that is one loud muffler. Good news is you can probably sell it to some kid with a wrx.
