Default Advice to BOV sound fanatics

For those of you who replace the stock BPV with an aftermarket BOV for the cool 'psss' sound:

instead of spending 200 bucks on a BOV, spend 100$ on a used cold air intake. With it, you can hear not only the stock BPV working, you can also hear the turbo spool! I was pleasently surprised when i replaced my intake.

BTW, BOV (which vents to atmosphere) is bad for our engines beacuse the air volume in the post-MAF intake system is measured. Venting to atmosphere instead of recirculating back to inlet causes the engine to run too rich between shifts!!!
