Default Cylinder number 4?

If you are looking at the motor from the front of the car do the cylinders go in this order?

3 4
1 2

So #4 would be the one in the rear of the engine bay, closest to the driver?

I have a misifre in that cylinder and I am gonna try and replace the coil....already tried replacing all the plugs and it didn't fix it.

Sometimes, yes. However, I'd first run a compression/LD test before I started swapping the injectors and coil packs. If nothing else, it eliminates the lower end from the problem solving list.

^^What he said. Missfires in #4 are often caused by a motor that has lost compression. I would want to eliminate that factor first.

Ok, thanks guys. I guess I should schedule a compression and LD test.

Figured I would update for funnies.

I have a friendly local service writer/dealer and took it in there to get it checked out. Turns out it was a bad stock injector on number 4. I also managed to get a compression test done:

#1 - 148
#2 - 141
#3 - 149
#4 - 150

So cylinder #2 is a little lower than the others, but still looks in the good range to me. What do you guys think? I haven't gotten the misfire code running stock for about a week, I am gonna go stage 2 again and see what happens.

I plan on going 850 injectors with a 20g soon anyway, I just wanted to make sure the car was solid first.

Not bad for an older car.
