^sure thing. finish is great.

They are the same as the GTspec II headers and tomei. MadDad(TM) Headers / Uppipe sold as TOMEI in Japan - NASIOC
They are manufactured by the same supplier the other guys get them and maddad just stamps their logo on them. The only difference is the uppipe and the EGT bung placement. In addition to the stupid EGT bung hole in the uppipe (like the GTs), these come with an egt hole by cyl#4 which is great since I won't have to drill them and mess up the coat in that section.

We've sold this header going on 4 years now and we've never had a crack. They are built by the same factory that manufactures the TOMEI. There are a couple differences in the MadDad. There is a 1/8" NPT EGT bung in the manfiold(not seen in any of the above pics). The Uppipe is also MadDad specific from the TOMEI, GTSPEC, Vibrant Performance, ect. All of those use a 48mm velocity stack in the uppipe. The MadDad use a 45mm..still plenty large, but helps with initial spool a bit. You really want to get them dyno tuned to get the biggest benefit because there is an EGT drop with the better flow. Happy belated Father's Day . I ended up going out to VIR Raceway in Virginia for the Mazdadrivers sponsored track weekend. That will be my annual gift to myself. Lots of fun.

Happy driving...

R.

Wow how much is that header. Its not the equal length right? What does that do to the power band.

$450 + whatever coat you add. unequal lenght. as for gains, there are quite a few dyno graphs if you search. In summary it gets you a nice bump in torque in the mid rpm ranges. The graphs I saw were about +15hp and +35tq. That said, it's a gain across quite a bit of the powerband so peak numbers don't really tell all the story. I'll get around to post an audio clip too.

Great thanks. So you gain useable power. Wait, do you still have to wrap the headers to prevent everything from melting?

I've had this same set up on my car for about 10,000 miles so far. Awesome pieces, ceramic coated, didn't wrap them though. The only (non-issue) was one of the tac welds on the MadDad logo broke and it started to vibrate on the pipe, so I just popped it off. No big deal though. I recommend them to anyone!
