Default dp gasket - Anyone used fel-pro proramic?

Hey guys,
My downpipe came in today, and thanks to a large hole in the box I’m missing the gaskets and bolts. I have a sheet of fel-pro Pro-ramic 2499 from napa that I have had for a while. I was going to make a turbo/dp gasket with it, but I figured I would see if anyone has any experience with it. I don’t really want to pull the dp back out to change the gasket if this stuff is known to leak.

Thanks,

Chris

I would just wait to button it up with a real gasket just in case, it would suck to pull it off for a gasket.

I tried many different gaskets... but I like Subaru OEM ones the best.

what is that gasket material made out of? If it has any paper-type product in it I would not use it at all. That connection get damn hot and I would worry about something like that causing a fire. The stock metal gaskets are only like 15 bucks at the dealership. What downpipe did you buy that came with the turbo to downpipe gasket? Or did the vendor throw it in? The reason I ask is Ive only ever seen down pipes come with the downpipe to catback gasket.

I used the same gasket material from napa to cut gaskets for my aps exhaust since I didn’t have time to order the 3” 3bolt gaskets. I haven’t had any problems with it. But for the dp to the turbo definitely go to the dealer its worth the money and time imo
