Default BOVs and 07s, Possibly a good thing?

So I know everyone says that BOV's suck, and I agree. But don't most BOV's make the car run rich? Obviously you lose performance, but safety could go up could it not? Especially with the 07's who appear to run lean at times. I think this idea is pretty crazy myself, but it does kind of make sense. Flame away!

Worse idea ever. with a BOV gets rich between shifts or when you release the gas pedal.

I R teh retarded. I've always known to stay away from BOV's, but didn't know the workings of when it actually made the mixture rich. Please delete thread.

The timing of the 07 leanness and the BOV richness wouldnt be right.

absolutly not.

the maf already counts for the air, therefor you cant tune it. due to its position

thanks for the clarification.. You think the forge bpv would add some extra noise? I'm growing unsatisfied with the CAI noises..

True you will be rich at first but then the ECU sees this and cuts fuel and you'll end up being too lean again. This is that last thing you want with an 07.
